Kimberley Hall
Kimberley is the Australian Teaching and Learning Lead at Google. She has spent the past twenty years supporting educators, leaders and education institutions to empower all learners with the tools and skills that set them up for success in building the future they want for themselves. She started her career as an award-winning English teacher, then worked in both school and system-level leadership, as well as at the university level. As the Director of a professional development company, Kimberley was fortunate to work with thousands of educators in dozens of countries globally. Today, she loves working as part of the Education team at Google Australia to transform education at scale.
Murray McKay
Murray is an experienced and passionate school and system leader who currently leads the Inclusive Education team in the ACT Education Directorate. Murray previously held the position as Director, Digital Literacy, leading ACT schools through the transition to remote and hybrid learning through the pandemic. Murray is dedicated to creating authentic student-centred learning that reflects the evolving 21st century education landscape. Murray’s team are currently supporting a 10 year strategy striving to ensure all students are welcomed, supported and have a sense of belonging at their local schools. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support underpin this work. Murray firmly believes that success is achieved through community, establishing positive relationships and fostering the holistic wellbeing of students, teachers and families.

Phil Carew
Phil is the Head of Digital Learning & Innovation at Toorak College in Mount Eliza, Victoria. Phil uses multiple Google Workspace tools to provide feedback and foster collaboration in and out of the classroom. He is proficient in the use of a range of technology tools to support the teaching and learning in and out of the classroom, which he shares with colleagues and students in order to gain the best outcomes.
Jim Sill
Jim Sill is a former high school teacher who enjoys a great story and loves inspiring people to tell theirs. Using his industry experience, he created an award-winning video production program in California, USA. By involving students in real-world video projects, they garnered awards and recognition at the local, state and national levels. His passion for creating authentic learning experiences for students and teachers has led him to work with teachers on all seven continents. Today, Jim lives outside of Melbourne on the traditional lands of the Wurrunjeri people and works with schools across Australia and New Zealand to support the adoption of technology to support teaching and learning.
Suan Yeo
Head of Adoption Programs (JAPAC), Google for Education. Doing cool stuff that matters. Enabling the next generation of users with technological tools to improve engagement and collaboration. 17+ years at Google, helping launch and build out sales & operations teams in US, Ireland, HK, Beijing, Singapore, and now Sydney. Keynote speaker, workshop presenter, proud father of 2 Montessori kids.
Chris Betcher
Chris Betcher is Program Manager for G Suite Adoption with the Google for Education Team based in Sydney. He works with schools across Australia and New Zealand to help them understand what Google offers and aims to show them how to get the most from G Suite, Chromebooks and the whole Google ecosystem. Prior to this, Chris was a teacher for almost 30 years, teaching curious young minds about art, computing, multimedia and technology.
Luke Starczak
Luke is the Director of Innovation at Norwood International High School, South Australia. He is a Google Certified Innovator from the first virtual cohort and has a passion for Chemistry and providing students with transferable skills. Luke is also interested in innovative learning design and how we can stretch our digital tools to provide amazing opportunities to teachers and students.
Greg O’Connor
Greg has been actively involved in education for over 30 years. During this time he has worked as a classroom teacher, school executive, consultant, and regional manager with the New South Wales Department of Education, Australia and as a technology consultant and coach. Today, he is the AsiaPac Education and Technology Leader at Texthelp, a company providing literacy support and digital inclusion solutions, where he helps make sure that the over half a million users of Texthelp products across the region get the most out of this technology.
Richard Johnson
Richard is a Senior Solution Engineer on the Google Education team based in Sydney. As a specialist in all technical aspects of devices and collaboration technologies, he brings a wealth of experience managing cloud services and device fleets in extensive education and commercial environments. While being at Google for almost a decade, his role as an Education Solution Engineer involves supporting organisations in executing technical solutions that optimise the use of Google technology for teachers, students, and schools effectively and securely

Darren Macolino
Darren is an experienced educator and leader with a passion for technology and helping students to thrive in our digital world. He is currently a Customer Success Manager at Google for Education. Based in Adelaide, his role supports education systems across Australia to achieve their goals and find value in their use of Google products. Previously, Darren led the Technology and Platform Adoption Team at ICT Services in the Department for Education, South Australia.
Penny Collins
Penny became a Google Certified Innovator (then a Google Certified Teacher) in the first Google Teacher Academy held in Australia back in 2011. She has held many positions including Coordinator Leading Learning at Mount Barker High School and Coordinator of Digital Learning at the Australian Science and Mathematics School. She is passionate about pedagogy and leveraging digital tools to enhance teaching and learning. She has been a leader of the Adelaide Google Educators Group since its inception in 2014.
Rachel Coathup
Rachel has a passion for supporting educators to use technology to enhance teaching and learning supporting all learners. She’s the Customer Success Director (ASIAPAC) at Texthelp and has worked with schools, colleges and universities delivering training and support in using EdTech. Prior to this, she was a Primary Teacher for 6 years in public and private sectors (AU and UK). During her teaching experience this has included Computing Curriculum designer and Lead Teacher of Technology for Learning. She is also an ISTE Certified Educator, Google Champion (Google Certified Trainer and Innovator).
